Recently I have been noticing the clients that I have been providing Reiki to have been challenging me. I believe that now more then ever people come my way for healing but unknowingly help me grow, evolve and change for the better.
It is a treat to visit a regular client who takes advantage of the energy so well. Each session I see improvement in the person’s energy field. The first session was an introduction. If you can imagine one energy field shaking another energy field’s hand and having polite conversation. As with most people you meet it ends there. There is some impact but most do not opt for another deeper conversation. Whatever was said during this energy exchange, it spoke to the person. The next session I focused on the legs, root chakra, and sacral chakra. The root chakra is the first chakra and is located between the legs and is your connection to the Earth. The second chakra is associate with creativity and sexuality. At the second chakra the energy field soon welcomed a steady stream of energy into the area. As a response waves of warm soothing energy wafted over me. I felt happy and thankful to be doing this work. If I had to focus on the client’s waves of energy, I would describe them as gratitude that was effective in triggering my gratitude. Could it be that there is an important relationship between client and healer. Maybe both have extensive experience with anger, pride or emotions and the healer has had success in balancing or overcoming in these conditions. Also if a client wants to learn more about unconditional love, and a healer has experience in this area there maybe a direct transference from one aura to the other. The client may find it easier to show unconditional love after the session. It would make sense that the client’s higher self, wanting to be free of judgment in the lower self would go to an “unconditional love specialist” for healing.
In this session my own memories of being an outcast and victim kept popping up. What? Where was this coming from? Usually my mind was peaceful and quiet, but really this was not a distraction. This was a clue of what was going one with the client. This issue resonated with both of us. A reason why the heart chakra was so heavily guarded. Self-love, the ability to love yourself enough to not let others compromise you integrity. To know you are lovable and a wonderful part of this world. It is the ability to make an impression of your loving kind self with out fear of being overpowered or controlled. In my opinion, being a victim is very related to the health of the heart chakra and the proficiency to love yourself and others. For most people I have worked with, the heart chakra is a sensitive area. In this person, working in short periods about four inches from the chest with patients will help them while respecting their boundaries.
The third session, I am happy to admit, showed me that the second chakra needed less work. The pattern was clear. As weeks progressed I focused channeled Reiki energy farther up the body. His field was improving from bottom to top. I was able to work longer at the heart chakra.
The fourth session I was able to focus on the heart chakra and arms. Pulling heavy stagnant energy from the heart to the shoulder and down and out the arm. Raking it out with the ethereal fingers and brushing it off for Spirit to transform. The ethereal fingers are the energy field around the physical fingers that tend to lengthen when preforming healing work. At the throat chakra there was a noticeable improvement too. When I first began with this client, the throat area was so sensitive he woke out of a deep sleep when I started Reiki there. Watching these signs, I always respect the client’s comfort level, asking if they are ok. After five minutes of work all around the head and neck he began to wake up. During that time energy poured in to the right side of his neck. A shift into balance occurred.
